Three days to go...
...and counting.
Yesterday we went to our hospital in London for the last set of tests/appointments with the obstetrics team before The Big Day on Friday. Everything was fine with Anne and the baby, and the obstetrician took us through what will happen on Friday in great detail, which was very reassuring.
We have to be at the hospital for 7am on Friday morning! That means catching the train into London at 6am! Ah well, we probably won't be able to sleep anyway. Anne will be staying in hospital for anything between 3 and 5 days, while I commute up to visit, along with family and probably some friends.
Anne is still suffering a bit with the cold and cough that I had all last week. She had a bad few days over the weekend but seems to be getting a little better. The doctors didn't seem too worried about it, and told her to take paracetomol or Lemsip to help the symptoms when she needed to. Unfortunately she's not getting a lot of quality sleep at night at the moment, but I guess we'll both be suffering from that in a few days time!
